Welcome!
We are Natasha and Rachel Lambert: sisters, sailors, and adventurers. We both thrive on the water, and thanks to our dad, Gary, Natasha's dreams of sailing are a reality. He designed and adapted a boat using his 'Sip-Puff' technology, giving her complete control of the helm and sheets using her breath despite having cerebral palsy. So far we've tackled numerous expeditions, including extensive trips around the UK and our biggest being an Atlantic crossing in 2020, which was captured in the BBC documentary "the girl who sails with her breath" now on Youtube. We hope to inspire you to push your limits and show you what can be possible with determination and teamwork. Explore our site to discover more about our adventures!

2026 - A promise
This winter has been extremely difficult for us. We had intended to sail across the Atlantic last November, but plans fell apart when our mum became ill and was then diagnosed with cancer.
Mum passed away on the 24th of February and naturally we've had to adapt to a huge change both mentally and physically, in that mum was Tasha's main carer and major part of our lives.
However, the last 3 things Mum said to us was the following:
1. Keep having adventures. Keep making new memories and new friends, pushing boundaries and showing the world what is possible.
2. Make sure everyone sees our documentary. She wants the world to be as proud of us as she was. And quite frankly we want everyone to see how incredible our mum was. She made everything in that documentary happen. So if you have a spare 30 minutes "The girl who sails with her breath" is on YouTube.
3. She told me I have to write a book. All of our expeditions, our friends, our wild, crazy, epic stories that have made us who we are. So watch out, the book (or books) is coming.
So with our promise to keep exploring in mind, we are planning to start where we left off...
This November we will be sailing across the Atlantic.
But it will be more than an ocean passage, it will be a tribute.
To mum, who never gave up and who made damn sure we won't either.
-Rachel
